Carry Forward Lei Feng Spirit
In the spring of March, the spirit of Lei Feng continues to be passed on. In order to further promote the spirit of Lei Feng and guide students to establish correct values, on the 5th of March, the anniversary of Lei Feng Day, each class of Anqing Foreign Language School's west campus meticulously organized a 'Learning from Lei Feng and Passing on the Flame' themed class meeting activity, allowing the spirit of Lei Feng to take root on campus.
To be concrete, at the beginning of the class meetings, the head teachers used PPT presentations and short videos about Lei Feng's deeds to lead the students to review his life story, explaining the core connotations such as 'serving the people wholeheartedly' and 'devoting oneself to one's profession', and guiding the students to understand that the Lei Feng spirit is not something far out of reach, but is integrated into the daily attitude towards life. Subsequently, the group discussion session was lively, during which students shared their insights based on their campus life. For instance, some recounted heartwarming moments of mutual assistance among classmates, while others proposed implementation plans starting from small things like caring for the campus environment and helping others, who all expressed their determination to follow Lei Feng's example and strive to be 'pioneering teenagers' in the new era.
To summarize, at the end of the class meetings, each class initiated an initiative, calling on all students to internalize the spirit of Lei Feng in their hearts and externalize it in their actions, actively participate in volunteer services, and let the new trend of dedication, kindness and mutual assistance fill the campus. Therefore, not only did the theme class meetings deepen students' understanding of the spirit of Lei Feng, but also injected warm role models into their growth, promoting the normalization and long-term development of the activity of learning from Lei Feng.
